Been busy lately with both work and work...however i just came back from Turkey!!woots!!haha spent 10 days asorbing all sorts of both religious and historical facts...hmm apparently turkey has history older den that of ANCIENT STILL ANCIENT china..It is so rich in history by just stepping into this Ancient land u will age at least by 10 years for every second??that will make me 144016 years old!!oh YEAH before i FORGET my birthday is around the corner PLS get me a PRESENT even if it is old sock..HOWEVER pls note that WHAT GOES AROUND COME AROUND =D Aniwae back to my current topic..TURKEY is positively the most historical brain wrecking country to be in..EVERY STATE has at least 1 ANCIENT city but at two BC sites...This is the country that had even bibilical characters living...They are none other den VIRGIN MARY and SAINT PAUL(i think)..Even EPHESUS is found there!!However what is really surprising is that CHRISTIAN Churches still exist in this muslim nation..notice the fact that i use the word muslim this is because they are nt governed by islamic laws oh well this happens when u care caught between europe and asia and the political system of turkey is the REPUBLIC.. Oh well Turkey's history ranges from 3000BC and onwards from the first civilisations such as the GORDIONS and Hittite and is the centre of other historical events such as the OTTOMAN TURKS WHO built fabulous mosques and palaces and surprisingly enough ROMANS and GREEKS..Though Turkey is a muslim country it is still filled to the brim of churches including churches built into caves..which photos u can see later =D and i am getting lazy but arhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...long post to make up for the lack of posting =P oh well when on a hot air ballon and let me tell u it was fREEZINGGGGGGGGGGGGG ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh...if u look at the photos i am nt wear gloves as well as eaer muffs and look positively constipated that is because i am wearing very little and it is -4 degree celcius and i saw lots of snow =D and nth beats the experience of having snow flutter down slowly onto you before melting into crystal water while you sit in a silent reverie contemplating ur life and of cuz the cold really gets to you and i think they call it winter blues where you donot see the sun for days at end you really feel depressed =( and since u are sitting on a cliff suicide is just 1 feet away..but i believe commiting suicide in this holy land will be open an abyss straight to hell for you hahahahha...Turkey must be a place of paradoxes for they have mosques that hold religious items important to two religions that are so intwined in both history and heritage for it is the home of Muhammad's beard as well as other of his belonging as well as the House which Virgin mary stayed in and the prision that held saint paul..but the uncanny thing was that the BOX that held the diamond studded silver box that held his beard emmited strong fragrances though i will nt comment if it is natural/supernature/man made...while virgin mary's house has a feeling of calm i have nvr been able to feel..oh well... The food is definitely something u will nt want to miss out from grilled meat to grilled chestnut(known locally as kao lac without the additional sugar thingys)and deserts that are 500 calories each..i suppose it does nt matter much to them considering the intense cold they have to endure their body wld have burnt off the extra sugar within them during homeostasis..i ACTUALLY lost weight..must be the food for fried food is nvr seen and everything is low fat and carbo comes from bread which gets boring afterawhile..HAHA but TURKEY HAS BOTH THE SIGHTS AS WELL AS HISTORICAL fact to draw in our poets,historians and other HUMANITY FOLKS it is just a place that leaves an impact and refuses to fade out..I NVR FELT SO COLD IN MY LIFE BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR the cold got so bad u start to feel a hollow within ur chest that even warm showers after warm shows and hot meals refuse to chase out..BUT I tasted their local alcoholic beverage call raki which u add 50%raki and 50% water and drink it together tastes like colgate and water =P oh well it was an enriching experience haha A MUST GO..i still have a box of promegenate tea left IF YOU HAVE READ TILL THIS LINE u can get it from me by asking =D
